Relaxing sun holidays on beautiful beaches are a Skiathos specialty. Honey coloured sand is what you’ll find in abundance here, as locals claim that more than 60 beaches adorn their coastline! The most famous of these beaches is Koukounaries, which takes its name from the area's indigenous pine trees, and stakes its claim to fame as the best beach in Greece.
Skiathos town is great for evening excursions and shopping sprees. Tasty typical taverna fayre and local retsina wine is offered at many of Skiathos' pretty restaurants. The hip and trendy waterside bars and restaurants in the town literally touch the waters edge. Headland walks through perfumed pines can be enjoyed by those who crave that 'daily constitutional'.
The primary resorts on the island are situated at Troulos, Aghia Paraskevi, Koukounaries and Skiathos town, each of which benefit from self-contained resort-based facilities. Skiathos town is just 15 minutes away from the main resorts, and is easily accessible by local bus services or taxi. This lovely harbour town is a delightful location for an evening stroll and is a great jumping off point for boat trips to the neighbouring islands of Skopleos and Alonissos.

You will be met at Skiathos airport and escorted by our Rep to your resort.
Journey time is approximately 10 and 40 minutes, depending upon your resort. Due to the location of many of the properties, it is not always possible for our transfer coach to drive up to all accommodations. Guests may have to walk 5-15 minutes from the coach, and luggage may be delivered by luggage truck which can take up to 1 1/2 hours.
